Job Description
About the Role

We are looking for a physically fit, enthusiastic Machine Operator to join our ReoXpress team based in Milton. This role will require the successful applicant to be adaptable to all tasks required within our factory environment and work collaboratively as part of a busy production team. 

Primary responsibilities for this role include:


	Operating cut and bend automated machines
	Calculating manual cutting and bending
	Assisting other operators by tying off reinforcing bundles and labelling accordingly
	Operating a forklift
	Operating overhead cranes
	Maintaining a clean and organised work environment 
	Ensuring all tasks are completed safely, accurately and efficiently
	Committed to improving performance in quality and safety

We would also consider an experienced Class 4 Operator who is willing and capable of progressing to a Class 5 licence. The role involves transporting construction equipment and materials throughout New Zealand. Due to the nature of the work, occasional overnight stays away from home will be required. You will be a competent operator who takes pride in your work. Please note, there may be occasions where you will be required to stay away from home overnight.

 

Skills You Will Need

 

Being an integral member of our team, you will have experience carrying a variety of loads within our construction business. 

 

Additionally, we will be looking for the following attributes from candidates: 

 

· A full Clean Drivers Licence with Class 5 or Class 4 trainee

· Knowledge of Code of Practice for safe loading of heavy vehicles 

· A great listener who is keen to learn 

· Excellent communication skills
