About the Role

Based at our state of the art head office in Milton, we are looking for a competent Purchasing Administrator to work within our busy Purchasing team to cover Maternity Leave for a 10 month period.  Primary responsibilities for this role include creating and receipting purchase orders, processing of invoice approvals, and establishing good working relationships with internal staff and external suppliers.

Skills and Attributes

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • High level of computer literacy, especially with the Microsoft suite of programmes (knowledge of Microsoft AX and SharePoint programs is advantageous but is not a requirement)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can multitask and has the ability to plan, schedule and prioritise work effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Efficient and proactive whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy
  • Effective problem-solving skills and an ability to make decisions based on knowledge and sound judgement
  • A basic understanding of the construction industry would be useful but is not a requirement
