Office Manager & EA Support - Fixed Term.

 About the Role

This role will see you support our GM Construction, Canterbury Regional Manager along with our senior construction team to provide responsive administration support. This role plays a key part in ensuring our office is run seamlessly every day. You’ll manage reception and coordinate office operations and facilities along with overseeing a small administration team.

We are looking for a down to earth, energetic, and excellent communicator, who has lots of initiative and motivation. Experience working within a senior management structure and strong knowledge with systems and software would be advantageous.

This role is on a 12-month fixed term basis for Maternity leave.

The successful candidate will be able to consistently demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. You will be energetic, keen to learn, and enjoy working in a team environment and won't be afraid to take ownership of your work. Previous experience in this type of role would be beneficial. 

Additionally, we will be looking for the following attributes from candidates:

· Proven experience in office management, administration, EA/PA, or a similar role

· Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, and attention to detail

· Proactive ownership—you see what needs doing and follow it through, escalate issues early, and build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers

· Strong administrative skills, including minute taking

· A customer service mindset with a confident, professional communication style

· Able to use construction-based technology (Procore, HubSpot, mobile devices, desktop applications)

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
