About the Job

Due to sustained growth in our Waikato office, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager that can come on board and lead some of our interesting and varied commercial construction projects.  You will work alongside the Waikato Construction teams and Regional Manager to ensure the successful delivery of projects.  

Skills You Will Need

Being an integral member of our construction team, you will have natural leadership ability and a thorough understanding of NZ commercial construction methods. You will be able to confidently utilise your programming abilities, to ensure your projects are delivered on programme and to the highest quality.

Additionally, we will be looking for the following attributes from candidates: 

· A trade qualification or tertiary qualification in construction management or quantity surveying

· At least five years’ experience in managing a mix of medium to large design and construction projects

· Competence in Microsoft Office including MS Project (SharePoint advantageous)

· Solid programming skills

· Sound knowledge of the NZ construction market and relevant commercial construction legislation experience

· Ability to interpret and understand drawings and structures with a view to offering optimum value for the client

· Proven ability to lead others 

· Strong financial management with the ability to drive cost accountability

· Outstanding written and oral communication
