About the Role
Due to a large commercial project, we require a Fixed Term Health & Safety Coordinator. You will be working alongside the Health and Safety Advisor and the Construction team and be responsible for supporting and promoting safe working practices. You will work with managers, clients, supervisors and sub-contractors to ensure that our company Health & Safety standards are met, tasks are carried out as planned, and that all our employees and sub-contractors are kept safe at work.
Skills and Attributes You will Need
Our ideal candidate will have great people skills, a strong commitment to promoting safe working practices. Additionally, you will have strong organisational skills, be meticulous about document control and processes, and have the ability to train and mentor site personnel to achieve great Health and Safety outcomes.
We will also be looking for the following attributes from candidates:
• Industry relevant experience
• Recognised Health and Safety qualification (desirable)
• A high level of computer literacy (intermediate to advanced)
• A current full driver’s licence (as you will be required to travel to our worksites).
