About the Role

We require an experienced Painter to join our team. You will be responsible for the quality painting of steel components that are essential to our business, work for this role is varied and interesting.

Skills and Attributes

Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented, able to work autonomously or as part of a team.  You will be focused on meeting targets and deadlines with a commitment to getting the job done. Prior work experience in the structural steel industry is desirable.

Additionally, we will be seeking candidates with the following skills and attributes:

  • At least three years’ experience with a painting position 
  • Ability to read, understand and follow standard engineering drawings accurately
  • Produce high quality work efficiently
  • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly, helpful way
  • You will be versatile and able to handle a wide variety of work
  • Flexible with working hours and willing to do overtime when required

Culture and Benefits

This role is full-time (minimum 40 hours per week), an hourly rate between $29 - $31, depending on experience and time and a quarter for any overtime worked, with a maximum of 55 hours per week.
