Our client for this project was an established wool farmer in the Central Otago region, seeking to expand their wool farming operations. They came to us because of our long history in customised rural builds, which dates back to the first commercial barn projects our founders undertook.

The proposed Design Build solution was for a large and spacious 10-stand woolshed, integrating into the existing buildings and infrastructure on the client's farm. Included within this particular project were sheep pens, with gating and exit chutes leading into a spacious wool processing area. The shed itself followed the time-honoured design approach we're well known for and includes the use of our corrugate cladding and roofing products, along with standard truss and purlin designs.

The building was custom-designed to fit straight on the site's contour, connected to pre-existing structures. The client can now triple his wool farming operations thanks to the extra woolshed space.
