The construction of this 2,100m² brewery called for extensive infrastructure and warehousing, along with mezzanine flooring, concept bar and feature windows.
With a design submitted by the BECA Group, we were able to win the construction side of this tender for Dunedin-based Emerson's Brewery. This project was multi-pronged, calling for the construction of an extensive brewery infrastructure and associated warehousing space. Additional features include a mezzanine-level office complex, along with a concept bar to promote the brand. Feature windows allow the brewery's inner workings to be viewed during the tours Emerson offers.
We worked closely with project managers at BECA to ensure we met the tight project timeline, organising proper scheduling for a host of specialist subcontractors and engineering firms. We also focused early on in the build on the procurement of precast panels and structural steel, drawing on our in-house resources to finish the project.
All-in-all, we managed to deliver the project well within the specified time limit and budget, making for a happy client and a job well done.
