Our property team spearheaded this Don and Devron Street project when the need for a new commercial office space in the downtown area of Invercargill became apparent. In particular, anchor tenant ASB required additional room for their increasing client base, which is where we came in.

The finished product was a 2,000m2, two-level office complex, which housed Fairfax Press’s Southland Times offices, and a 450m2 section fit-out. Overall, the building boasts simple architectural sophistication, with exposed concrete precast columns, full-height aluminium joinery, and zinc cladding sections.

A bulk of early earthworks were conducted during off-peak times to avoid interfering with nearby businesses and a printing press sensitive to excessive vibration. Thanks to good planning and on-site management, the project went off without a hitch.
