At 3,150m² in total, this property-led Design Build solution features 2,000m² of a stock warehouse, 800m² of canopy area for pickups and deliveries, and 350m² of office.
Our property team were on the case to help produce this opportunity and helped align our Tyremax client regarding our Design Build solution, offering a full structured lease package option.
Once a package was agreed upon, we began construction work on the 3,150m2 facility. This included 2,000m2 devoted to the warehousing of Tyremax’s extensive tyre stock, along with 800m2 of canopied space to support protected pickups and deliveries. An additional 350m2 office area was built at the front of the facility to accommodate administrative operations.
The project encountered constant winds and rain throughout its construction phase, presenting real scheduling challenges. As such, the roof took a total of six long weeks to install. However, schedules were met regarding the client’s occupancy targets by doubling up working hours during more favourable weather conditions.
